1 Automatic Zoom Mercedes-Benz Research & Development India JOB DESCRIPTION Azure DevSecOps We are seeking a talented and experienced Azure DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Azure and a passion for building scalable, reliable, and resilient systems. Will play a critical role in will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and automated development pipelines, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems. 1. Azure Infrastructure Management ➢ Design, deploy, and manage high available secure and scalable infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. ➢ Conduct regular security assessments and implement best practices for securing cloud infrastructure. 2. Automation and Scripting ➢ Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or other scripting languages for infrastructure provisioning and configuration. ➢ Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for automated and consistent deployments. 3. Reliability ➢ Establish and implement best practices for reliability, including service level objectives (SLOs), error budgets, and service level indicators (SLIs). ➢ Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and addressing reliability bottlenecks. 4. Incident Management ➢ Participate in incident response and resolution, working closely with development and operations teams. ➢ Implement effective monitoring and alerting to detect and respond to incidents proactively. 5. Security and Compliance ➢ Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce security best practices for Azure resources. ➢ Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to reliability and security. 6. Collaboration and communication ➢ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and QA, to enhance system reliability. ➢ Communicate effectively with stakeholders about system status, incidents, and improvements. ➢ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. ➢ Proven experience on Microsoft Azure as DevSecOps Engineer or similar role (3-6 years of experience). ➢ In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure Networking, Monitoring, Alerting, and logging, ➢ Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation. ➢ Experience with Serverless, containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). ➢ Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform). ➢ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. ➢ Relevant security certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified DevSecOps Engineer) are a plus.
