Key Responsibilities (scales with seniority):

1. Manage day-to-day network operations: routing, switching, WLAN, SD-WAN, and network security (NGFW, IPS/IDS, VPN, ZTNA, segmentation)
2. Support/lead cloud networking initiatives (Azure/AWS)
3. Drive automation using Python, Ansible, and API-driven operations
4. Monitor network performance using observability/dashboard tools; report on service assurance and compliance
5. Manage vendor ecosystems, technical escalations, and stakeholder communication
6. For senior levels: lead distributed/international technical teams, own supplier and contract negotiations, and drive service management (ITIL) practices
