About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Auditor with strong expertise in Oracle technology stack to work on a secondment basis with our client’s IT team in Dubai. The role requires hands-on involvement in IT audits, controls evaluation, process walkthroughs, and risk assessments across Oracle systems and related integrations. The ideal candidate must be able to travel immediately, work in a fast-paced client environment, and ensure quality delivery aligned to internal audit and IT governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Audit & Controls

1. Conduct end-to-end audits for Oracle applications (Oracle E-Business Suite / Oracle Fusion Cloud / Oracle Databases).
2. Review IT General Controls (ITGC), application controls, and automated/manual controls.
3. Evaluate access management, change management, backup & recovery, configuration management, and incident management processes.
4. Assess risk areas and provide recommendations to strengthen IT governance and compliance posture.

2. Process Walkthroughs & Documentation

1. Perform detailed walkthroughs with client teams for critical business processes (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, Projects, etc.).
2. Prepare audit workpapers, risk & control matrices, and documentation in compliance with audit methodology and standards.
3. Review Oracle setups, workflows, roles & responsibilities, and segregation of duties (SoD).

3. Technical Evaluation

1. Analyze Oracle system logs, database configurations, patch levels, and system architecture.
2. Evaluate interface controls, integrations, custom developments, and security configurations.
3. Work closely with IT teams to validate remediation actions and verify compliance.

4. Client Collaboration

1. Work directly with client stakeholders (IT, Finance, Business Process Owners).
2. Provide clear, actionable audit findings and highlight high-risk areas.
3. Support the client during internal, external, or regulatory audits.

5. Reporting

1. Prepare audit reports, compliance summaries, and executive presentations.
2. Track audit observations, risks, remediation timelines, and closure updates.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

1. Strong experience in IT audit for Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion Cloud.
2. Understanding of Oracle architecture, workflows, setups, roles, and modules.
3. Good knowledge of ITGC, SoD assessments, and application control testing.
4. Hands-on experience with SQL queries, logs, and configuration review.
5. Knowledge of control frameworks: COBIT, ISO 27001, SOX, or similar.

Professional Skills

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Ability to work onsite at client premises and manage senior stakeholder interactions.

Experience

1. 4–10 years of relevant IT audit or Oracle consulting experience.
2. Prior experience working in internal audit, Big-4 consulting, or IT governance teams is preferred.

Travel & Onsite Requirements

1. Immediate travel to Dubai is mandatory.
2. Onsite presence at the client’s premises throughout the secondment duration.
