Mode of Interview: Face to Face (Mandatory). ***JOB DESCRIPTION*** Your Role and Responsibilities • As a Storage SME, he/she will assume a role to completely handle the storage management, optimization, and support of NetApp storage systems within the organization. This advanced-level position requires a comprehensive understanding of NetApp technologies, and best practices, as well as the ability to lead cross-functional teams in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of storage infrastructure. You as a storage subject matter expert to visit the domestic client’s offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role. Responsibilities: • Storage Infrastructure Leadership: Lead the design, creation of LLD and HLD documentation, implementation, and maintenance of NetApp HPEVA storage systems, including SAN, NAS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. • Storage Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize storage infrastructure, including storage aggregates, volumes, and data migration processes, to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. • Performance Management: Monitor storage system performance metrics and analyze trends to identify optimization opportunities and ensure optimal performance for business-critical applications andworkloads. • Data Protection and Disaster Recovery: Lead the design and implementation of data protection measures, including backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions, to ensure data integrity and availability in the event of system failures or disasters. • Storage Security: Develop and implement security measures to protect storage systems from unauthorized access and ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements. • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting storage-related issues, providing guidance and leadership to resolve complex problems and minimize downtime. • Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for storage systems and processes, including configuration guides, standard operating procedures, and incident reports. • Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and application developers, to support storage infrastructure requirements and initiatives. Provide training and mentorship to junior storage administrators as needed. • Ready to work on 24/7 shifts to support client requirement. Required Technical and Professional Expertise 8+ years of experience in NetApp, EMC and HP storage administration or related roles, with demonstrated leadership in administering and optimizing storage systems. Expertise in NetApp C-mode, 7-Mode, Grid, and FSX storage technologies,EMC including SAN, NAS, and tape libraries, with proficiency in storage provisioning, performance management, and data protection. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Certification in NetApp storage technologies (e.g., NetApp Certified Data Administrator on C-mode) preferred. Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise • Required Education:- BE / B.
