The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS) for automating Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Cloud, or web-based enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS) Work independently on test automation strategy, framework design, and script development Automate functional, regression, integration, and smoke test scenarios Interact with clients, business users, and functional teams to understand application flows and testing requirements Develop and maintain reusable automation components and libraries Analyze manual test cases and identify candidates for automation Execute automation scripts and analyze results, logs, and reports Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools Perform root cause analysis for test failures and coordinate with development teams Support test data preparation and environment validation Participate in UAT support, production validation, and release testing Prepare and maintain automation documentation, execution reports, and dashboards Mentor junior testers and review automation scripts for quality and best practices Mandatory Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS) Experience in automating: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications Oracle Cloud / Fusion or other enterprise web applications (added advantage) Proficiency in: OATS OpenScript Java-based scripting concepts Good understanding of: Test automation frameworks Object identification and synchronization techniques Parameterization, data-driven testing, and error handling Experience with test execution, result analysis, and reporting Familiarity with SQL for backend data validation Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments (basic to intermediate) Testing & Process Skills Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC Experience in: Functional testing Regression testing Integration testing Ability to independently manage automation cycles within project timelines Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments Client & Communication Skills Proven experience in direct client interaction Ability to: Discuss test scenarios and automation approach with clients Provide test status, execution reports, and defect analysis Explain automation coverage and limitations clearly Strong verbal and written communication skills Good to Have Exposure to Oracle EBS modules (Financials, SCM, HRMS) Experience with CI/CD integration for test execution Knowledge of version control tools (Git, SVN) Experience in performance or load testing tools (added advantage) Location - Mumbai/ PAN India(T1) - 125c24ef-100d-4c5c-a3a9-534782a007e5
