The role focuses on replacing classic gATP with advanced, rule-based availability checks to improve order fulfillment, sourcing, and prioritization during supply constraints. Key Responsibilities 1. aATP Strategy & Design Define aATP design and strategy aligned with S/4HANA migration scope (Brownfield / Bluefield). Assess impact of classic gATP to aATP transition. Lead workshops with business stakeholders on: Availability check logic Product allocation Backorder processing Supply protection Alternative sourcing 2. aATP Configuration & Setup Configure aATP in S/4HANA Sales: Availability Check (ATP) Product Allocation (PAL) Backorder Processing (BOP) Alternative-Based Confirmation (ABC) Supply Protection Define ATP groups, checking rules, and control parameters. Configure plant / material / storage location substitution rules. Integrate aATP with SD sales documents and delivery scheduling. 3. Sourcing & Substitution Logic Design rules-based sourcing logic for: Alternate plants Alternate MRP areas Substitute materials Align sourcing with delivery priority and customer segmentation. Ensure compatibility with logistics execution and shipping. 4. Backorder Processing & Allocation Define BOP segments and prioritization rules. Configure rescheduling strategies during shortages. Enable fair and business-driven stock reallocation. Support simulation and execution of BOP runs. 5. Integration & Data Migration Coordinate with data migration teams for: ATP relevant master data Product allocation quantities Customer priorities Ensure migration readiness for ATP-relevant sales documents.
