SAP BRIM Convergent Charging (CC) consultant configures and implements real-time rating and charging solutions for high-volume/value, subscription-based, and usage-based billing models. He should specialize in creating charging plans, mapping tables, rate plans, and allowance logic, integrating CC with SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI) and S/4HANA SOM to manage complex pricing, discounts, and revenue. Key Responsibilities Configuration & Customization: Define and configure chargeable items (CIT), consumption items (BIT), charging plans, and mapping tables in SAP CC. Rating Logic Development: Design complex price plans, discounts, and promotional offers within SAP Convergent Charging. Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CC with CI, FIAR/FI-CA and BDR/SD Integration, and SOM. System Optimization: Perform performance tuning, monitor usage data loads, and troubleshoot rating errors. Technical Documentation: Create functional specification documents (FSD) for RICEFW components. Data Migration & Testing: Support data migration activities and perform unit/integration testing. Required Skills and Experience Experience: 4–10+ years in SAP BRIM, with at least 1-2 end-to-end implementations. Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of SAP CC Catalog Management, Chargeable Item/Charged Items, Allowance usage, Conter logic building and Refill logic. Tools: Experience with SAP CC Admin Tool/Cockpit and Core Server configuration. SOAMANAGER Setup and validation with Basis , CC system debugging skills. Integration Knowledge: Understanding of Convergent Mediation (CM) and SOAP/Web Services. Preferred Qualifications S/4HANA BRIM Convergent Charging (CC) project implementation experience. Strong analytical skills and experience in telecommunications, utilities, or media industries. Process Understanding/Background in S/4 HANA SD and Service.
