Position Overview The Senior AV/VC Infrastructure Engineer is the subject matter expert (SME) responsible for the design, administration, maintenance, and optimization of eBay’s global AV/VC environments. This role serves as the team’s L3 escalation point and leads technical guidance across Zoom, digital signage, wayfinding, AV/VC endpoints, and vendor management. The engineer ensures the reliability, security, and performance of all conferencing, collaboration, and digital engagement systems. Key Responsibilities • AV/VC Infrastructure Management o Oversee and maintain AV/VC hardware standards, including validation and testing, configurations, troubleshooting, proof-of-concepts, and Zoom rollouts. o Assist with AV/VC hardware deployments configurations and upgrades. o Manage the digital signage platform (currently Samsung MagicInfo), and Wayfinding including device onboarding, templates/presets, user/role/org structure, monitoring, and escalations. o Monitor AV/VC network infrastructure and integrate AV/VC systems with IT workflows and enterprise tools. o Provide recommendations for AV/VC upgrades and new technology implementations. o Document system configurations, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guides and build and maintain KB resources for team and end users. o Manage Domotz, including device organization/management, user & role administration, site configuration, monitoring, and escalation workflows. o Administer vendor platforms such as Neat Pulse, Poly Lens, and DTEN Orbit. o Collaborate closely with internal teams (Networking, Deployments, Collaboration, EMR, IAM, etc.) on configurations, troubleshooting, and cross-functional projects. o Serve as the L3 escalation resource for remote maintenance and troubleshooting of AV/VC systems, ensuring consistent, high-quality meeting experiences. o Configure and optimize video conferencing systems (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, etc.). o Perform regular firmware updates, patching, and proactive system health checks. o Manage hardware/software version control, including testing, documentation, rollout planning, and implementation. • Zoom and System Admin o Manage Zoom – All aspects of the eBay Zoom Environment including Users, Zoom Rooms, Workspaces, Apps, ZRA etc. Monitoring and escalations. o Oversee Zoom app integrations and develop processes and procedures for onboarding, testing, and rollout. o Partner with IAM, IT, and Security teams to ensure successful SSO, SailPoint, Ping, Azure AD, and other enterprise application integrations. o Serve as the L3 escalation path for all AV/VC, Zoom, wayfinding, and digital signage issues. o Lead outage management, coordinating with EBIM, internal teams, and vendors to resolve incidents efficiently and transparently. o Participate in change management processes, including presenting change requests to the CAB, conducting impact assessments, and planning deployments. - IBMFG2JP00012588
