Database: Proficiency in querying and troubleshooting databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and analysing long-running queries. Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s), Docker containers, and Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). OS & Scripting: Strong Linux/Unix administration skills and scripting proficiency (Bash, Python) for log analysis and automation. Tools: Experience with ITSM tools (Helix, JIRA) and Observability platforms (Splunk, ELK Stack, Grafana, Dynatrace). Soft Skills & Leadership: Crisis Management: Ability to remain calm, decisive, and communicative under high pressure during critical outages. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders (e.g., explaining a downtime to a Business Head). Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to connect dots between disparate logs, infrastructure metrics, and application errors. Experience & Education: Experience: 7–10+ years in IT, with at least 3+ years in a Lead or Senior Support role within a Digital/Banking/Fintech environment. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
