RTH-Y FSS Location: Pune, Hyd. Bangalore Comments to supplier :Functional Skills: The AWS Data resource will design, deploy, and optimize scalable database environments. Responsible for the high performance of mission-critical Amazon Aurora (MySQL/PostgreSQL compatible) clusters and managing complex graph datasets within Amazon Neptune to support data-driven initiatives. Key Responsibilities?? · Database Management: Provision, configure, and maintain Aurora and Neptune clusters, including managing DB parameter groups for performance tuning. · Performance Optimization: Use AWS CloudWatch and Performance Insights to monitor metrics like CPU, RAM, and IOPS, proactively resolving bottlenecks. · High Availability & DR: Implement backup and recovery strategies, including point-in-time recovery, cross-region replication, and automated snapshots. · Security & Compliance: Enforce security via IAM roles, VPC security groups, and encryption (at rest/in transit). Manage user access and credential rotation using AWS Secrets Manager. · Graph Data Engineering: Optimize Neptune queries using Gremlin, openCypher, or SPARQL. Handle Neptune bulk loaders and graph notebooks for data visualization. · Automation: Develop Python or Shell scripts to automate routine maintenance, patching, and data loading tasks. · Migration: Lead schema conversions and data migrations from on-premises or other RDS instances to Aurora using tools like AWS DMS. Required Skills & Qualifications?? Experience: 5+ years in DB with significant focus on AWS-managed services ·Core Technical Skills: o Engines: Deep knowledge of Aurora PostgreSQL/MySQL and Amazon Neptune. o Languages: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and graph query languages (Gremlin/openCypher). o Tools: Hands-on experience with Terraform/CloudFormation (IaC), AWS CLI, and monitoring tools like pgAdmin or MySQL Workbench. o Certifications (Preferred): AWS Certified Database – Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate. - IBMFG2JP00014453
