About the Role

We are looking for a Business Data Analyst to join our analytics team and help turn data into business intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, solid technical skills, and a keen understanding of how data impacts business strategy and operations.

You’ll collaborate across departments to gather data, design reports, and provide actionable insights that improve decision-making and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze business data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps.
2. Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
3. Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources.
4. Work closely with business stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting needs.
5. Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical teams.
6. Automate recurring data processes and improve data accuracy.
7. Support forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking activities.
8. Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to enhance data quality and accessibility.

Skills & Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science.
2. 2–5 years of experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence.
3. Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data models).
4. Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
5. Excellent communication skills — ability to simplify complex data into business insights.
6. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

1. Experience with Python / R for advanced analytics.
2. Familiarity with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
3. Prior experience in finance, SaaS, e-commerce, or consulting.
