Description
Total Years of Experience : 10yrs Relevant years of Experience: 5yrs Mandatory Skills for screening (Limit to top 5 and include version): Discovery & Strategy • Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand current-state data landscape, business goals, and target-state use cases • Define data strategy for unifying customer records across multiple systems (CRM, ERP, POS, Web, Mobile, etc.) • Assist clients in identifying high-value use cases for customer 360, real-time personalization, and audience segmentation Solution Design • Design scalable Salesforce Data Cloud architectures aligned with customer data platforms, industry standards, and Salesforce best practices • Map data from source systems to Salesforce Data Cloud using data streams and data model mapping • Define identity resolution rules for deterministic and probabilistic matching to unify customer profiles • Design calculated insights for business KPIs (e.g., lifetime value, churn risk, purchase propensity) Implementation • Configure Data Streams, Data Bundles, Data Lake Objects, and Unified Profiles in Salesforce Data Cloud • Set up and manage identity resolution, data harmonization, and profile unification processes • Build audience segments using filters, rules, and calculated fields for targeted engagement • Implement data ingestion pipelines for both real-time (e.g., Kafka, streaming APIs) and batch data • Configure activation targets to push segmented data into Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ServiceCloud, etc. Integration & Enablement • Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Integration Engineers, and Marketing teams to align Data Cloud with broader CRM and Martech ecosystems • Integrate Data Cloud with external platforms (e.g., ad platforms, analytics tools, CDNs) where applicable • Enable real-time use cases such as next-best-action, contextual messaging, and dynamic content using decisioning engines or AI Governance, Security & Compliance • Ensure proper data governance, access controls, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) are adhered to across Data Cloud usage • Monitor data quality, completeness, and freshness in unified profiles Delivery, Documentation & Support • Create comprehensive solution documentation, including data mappings, process flows, and design artifacts • Support end-user training and enablement for business users, marketers, and analysts • Provide ongoing support for testing, deployment, and post-go-live enhancements Good to have (Not Mandatory): N/A Detailed Job Description : Experienced and forward-thinking Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant to help enterprises unlock the full potential of their customer data through unified profiles, real-time personalization, and intelligent segmentation. As a Data Cloud Consultant, you will work at the intersection of business strategy, data architecture, and Salesforce technology to implement scalable and effective solutions on the Salesforce Data Cloud platform (formerly Customer Data Platform /Genie). You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of Data Cloud solutions—from discovery and design to implementation and activation—enabling businesses to drive personalized, omnichannel experiences using unified customer profiles.
