Description

Mandatory Skills : Strong proficiency in written and spoken English • Strong proficiency in applying adult learning and instructional design strategies to develop learning content to meet given requirements • Solid experience designing and developing training materials and content (including technical content) for different modes of learning, such as instructor-led training, e-learning, blended learning, videos, simulations, etc. • Solid experience in developing learning elements, such as interactivities, hands-on/lab exercises, simulations, audio/video scripts, knowledge assessments, quick reference guides, and other training materials • Ability to visualize the graphical representation of content • Copy edit content to ensure it is free of grammatical errors and is compliant with writing style and guidelines • Ability to collaborate with senior subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designersand multiple business stakeholders to create accurate, practical, and engaging learning content. • Strong communication skills to convey information and instructions accurately to team mates • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across time zones • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work Alternate Skills • Content development • Technical writing • Copy editing Alternate Skills Good to have (Not Mandatory) • Requirement analysis • Working knowledge of at least oneLearning development tool such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline/Rise, or Camtasia • Experience of applying generative AI to content development for a faster and more efficient development cycle Detailed Job Description Detailed Job Description As an Instructional Designer, you will: • Apply adult learning methodologies and instructional Design strategies to develop learning content to meet requirements • Research, analyze, develop, tailor, and/or revise instructional materials • Developlearning material for different modes of learning such as instructor-led training, e-learning, blended learning, videos, simulations, etc. • Work with SMEs, Instructional Designers, and other stakeholders to develop different types of learning deliverables, such as Detailed Design Documents, Content Outlines, Storyboards, etc. • Work with content development tools, such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate, etc. to design and develop engaging and effective learning experiences • Visualize how complexcontent can be represented graphically to enhance learning comprehension and retention • Communicate concepts clearly to graphic artists and courseware developers, to help them render your ideas accurately into the developed course • Keep abreast of the latest trends in learning design and development and apply these as required for innovative learning experiences • Use generative AI with all the checks and balances to develop learning material with unbiased and accurate content • Communicate ideas, blockers, risks clearly and in a timely manner to project stakeholders • Adhere to the project schedule, quality standards, and development guidelines for all deliverables . Location: Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune. Resource should be available for F2F Interview in IBM location based on account request and Day 1 reporting post OB. RTH-Y.
