Experience: o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a DB2 DBA, preferably with experience in IBM Maximo. o Strong experience with DB2 LUW (Linux, Unix, Windows) database administration, including installation, patching, backup/recovery, and performance tuning. o Experience working with IBM Maximo Asset Management in a DB2 environment. o Hands-on experience in Maximo system architecture and database schema management. o Strong understanding of Maximo data models, customizations, and integration with third-party systems. • Skills & Expertise: o Proficiency in DB2 SQL (including performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization). o Knowledge of Maximo database tables, configurations, and integration points. o Experience with DB2 High Availability Disaster Recovery (HADR), clustering, and replication setups. o Familiarity with DB2 tools for monitoring, troubleshooting, and backup (e.g., DB2 Control Center, db2diag, db2look, etc.). o Understanding of Maximo architecture, integration with other enterprise systems, and ITIL-based change management. o Experience with performance tuning and optimization tools for Maximo and DB2. • Certifications (optional): o IBM Certified Database Administrator - DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows. o Maximo-related certifications (e.g., Maximo Asset Management Implementation, Maximo Functional/Technical certifications) are a plus.
